GAT General Test format And Subjects



There are several GAT General Courses which can be opting by the candidate who is willing to apply for the MS and M.Phil programs. These courses and subjects are being chosen by the candidates as per their requirements and needs.

There are three possible types of categories in which the all the subjects which could be opted are being divided in. There are 7 possible subjects which can be opting by the candidate as per his or her requirement. Theses available subjects are being listed below:

  6. Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences
  7. Physical Sciences

These above mentioned subjects are being divided in to three categories on the basis of their paper pattern and marks distribution.

GAT General Test format

The paper of GAT consists of three sections, the first section is of English, Second of Analytical Reasoning and the third and final is of Quantitative section.  The marks distributions of all the possible options available for the applicant in the GAT examination are being illustrated in the table below:
