The present tense is a tense that expresses an action that is currently going on or habitually performed. We also could say that a state that currently or generally exists is also known as the present tense.
Present Tense is a simple first tense that relates all those works in a current time period. In the present tense, we use the first form of a verb and add an ‘es’ with a form of verb according to subject (singular, or plural). Structure of Present Tense
- Subject + 1st Form of Verb + Object
If the subject in a sentence is “he, she, it, the singular or proper noun” then “s” or “es” is added to the first form of the verb or base form in the sentence.

- He does not get up early in the morning
