Another September obsolete from the history of world as well as from Pakistan’s. In the history of Pakistan the last September have many pros and corns. In addition to this, the trends and events are changing with the passage of time and it is also the need of hour. 6 September 2016 :Defense day:
The whole nation celebrated the 51st Defense day of Pakistan on 6th September, 2016. On that prestigious event throughout the nation the celebrations were held. The army shows its strength to the world and to the enemies of Pakistan.
8 September 2016 : International Literacy day
The international literacy day observed every year in the 2nd week of September all over the globe. Similarly, Pakistan celebrated that occasion on 8th September, 2016, by promising the Nation to enhance the literacy rate and standards of education. The Government has announced schemes to enhance the enrollment at initial level. By implementing these all schemes the literacy rate will rise to 87% from 57%.
18 September 2016 : Taliban Attack on PAF
18th September night was a black mourning in the history of Pakistan. On that night 14 gunned man extremists attacked on the Pakistan Air Force camp at Badaber, Peshawar. Alongside this, they killed almost 42 people including children’s, civilians and military persons. In the deadly attack 16 people were killed in the mosque while they are offering Morning Prayer. In the reaction of that action the military persons gunned down 13 attackers and one of them was captured alive.
13th September; Eid-Ul-Adha 2016
It is also known as Eid-i-Qurban. The Muslims all around the globe celebrate it in the memory of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S). These celebration’s had been occurred on 13th September, 2016. Furthermore, that occasion shows the sacrifice of Muslims in the way Allah. It is the event of poor’s and needy people.
30 September 2016: Pakistan’s United Nations General Assembly Speech:
The United Nation’s (UN) was created almost 70 years ago after the world war-II, to keep the member countries out of war heading conflicts. For that purpose it had taken too many steps for the peace and conflict resolving. In the last session of UN General Assembly, the 193 member countries have given a chance to speech at the floor of General Assembly.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawas Sharif delivered a speech on 30th September, 2016. In his speech he had provided the stance of Pakistan regarding his conflicts, problems internal as well as external, and boundary line issues. The core issues those were discussed in his speech at UN assembly are listed below;
- It is one of the UN failures that it is failed to resolve the issue of Kashmir between two Nuclear powers India and Pakistan.
- Pakistan wants to de-militarize the region i.e., Siachin, to lead towards better environment for economic co-operation.
- Pakistan itself is the victim of terrorism but it is trying to remove the menace of terrorism from the region. The terrorist did not belong to any religion. They are attacking innocent people and they will be dealt with iron hands.
- Pakistan is a major contributor in the peace keeping mission.
To conclude, the September has gone but it lasted its memories to the history of Nation. No one have the power to change the past but everyone has chance to change the future. Where there is will there is a way! Hope for better.
