Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) Islamabad has announced multiple project-based vacancies under the Project Pay Scale (PPS). Available Vacancies

QAU has announced the following positions:

1. Project Coordinator (PPS-09)

• Required Qualification: Master’s degree in Engineering, Social Sciences, or Management Sciences from PEC/HEC recognized institutes.
• Experience: Minimum 6 years in monitoring and supervision of construction projects in public or semi-government organizations.
• Additional Skills: Contract management (FIDIC, PEC, PPRA) and legal/regulatory handling preferred.
• Age Limit: 55 years

2. Admin Officer (PPS-07)

• Qualification: MA/MSc/MBA (at least 2nd division) or BBA (Hons) from an HEC-recognized university.
• Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Age Limit: 45 years

3. Manager Finance (PPS-07)

• Qualification: Master’s in Business Administration (at least 2nd division), MBA (Finance & Accounting) or M.Com.
• Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in project accounts.
• Age Limit: 45 years

4. Procurement Officer (PPS-07)

• Qualification: MA/MSc (2nd division).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in procurement procedures and logistics management.
• Age Limit: 45 years

5. Assistant (PPS-05)

• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (2nd division).
• Experience: At least 2 years in admin or operations roles in private/public organizations.
• Age Limit: 35 years

6. Sub-Engineer (PPS-05)

• Qualification:
  • B.Tech (Civil Technology) with 2+ years experience OR
  • DAE (Civil) with 4+ years of project experience
• Age Limit: 35 years

7. Attendant (PPS-01)

• Qualification: Middle/Matric
• Age Limit: 30 years

General Instructions

1. All positions are contract-based under PPS and do not lead to permanent appointments.
2. The initial contract is for one year, extendable based on performance and project requirements.
