The Mama Parsi Girls' Secondary School Karachi was established as on 1 April 1918. It was established under the supervision of Jamshed Nusserwanjee Mehta. This school was build through the donations under his supervision. Mama Parsi School Karachi is the very first school of Parsi Girls that is functioning as into the portion of the Bai Virbaijee School as from where it was shifted in June 1919 to a large building which was known as Mama Mansion. The present building is known by the name of The Mama Parsi Girls' High School Karachi, that was started on 17 January 1920 and completed on 26 January 1925. They started with their first academic session as on 1 of April 1925.
The Mama Parsi School Karachi is offering their education in two shifts such as in morning and then in afternoon. The afternoon shift consists of Classes I to VII, with Classes I and II having 3 sections each, D, E, & F and the rest of the shift have 3 sections each, including as D & E for the primary and E, F & G for the secondary. After the end of class VII the girls population is then shifted to morning. The Mama Parsi Girls' Secondary School Karachi has the matriculation as well as Cambridge system. The students are supposed to appear in the test in grade five in order to get selected for the Cambridge system. The system starts from grade six.
