Key Responsibilities
The General Manager for Coca-Cola CPS Pakistan holds a multi-dimensional leadership position. Some of the core duties include:
- Leading the Local Leadership Team by setting strategic direction and shaping a high-performance culture within the plant.
- Providing leadership across departments such as Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, QSE (Quality, Safety, Environment), Finance, People and Culture, and Operational Excellence.
- Ensuring lean-based operational excellence to improve productivity and business performance.
- Overseeing the annual business plan for the plant, ensuring its execution through standardized technologies, procedures, and processes.
- Acting as the primary representative of the plant to local regulatory authorities and ensuring compliance with all KO standards and national regulations.
- Fostering collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders including bottlers, Technical Functions, and Operating Units.
- Representing the Pakistani plant within the global General Manager community to ensure alignment with global strategies.
- Providing inspirational leadership to teams, managing direct and indirect reports, enhancing employee engagement, and developing future local leaders.
Qualifications and Requirements
To qualify for the role of General Manager at Coca-Cola CPS Pakistan, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- University degree in Engineering or Business Management.
- Ten to twelve years of manufacturing experience in a fast-moving, high-volume consumer goods environment, preferably in beverages or food.
- Experience working in both unionized and non-unionized plants across different locations.
- A strong background in delivering business results in supply chain environments.
- Five to seven years of senior leadership experience in a multinational organization.
- Exposure to departments such as R&D, Account Management, Supply Chain, and Finance.
- Strong business acumen and experience handling P&L responsibilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Capability to execute strategies within complex and matrix-driven business structures.
- Proficiency in English and the local language.
- International exposure is considered an advantage.
