PESCO Peshawar KPK Jobs 2025 offer a significant career opportunity as Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO), a leading public utility under the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), invites applications for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the CEO position must meet the following requirements:

Academic Requirements

• Minimum 16 years of education in one of the following fields:
  • Engineering
  • Business Administration
  • Public Administration
  • Management Sciences
  • Finance
  • Commerce
  • Economics
  • OR be a member of a recognized body of professional accountants.

Experience Requirements

• At least 20 years of professional experience with:
  • Minimum 3 years of senior management experience.
  • For public sector applicants: experience equivalent to BS-20 on substantive, acting or additional charge basis.
  • For private sector applicants: C-level experience.
• Must demonstrate:
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Ability to handle corporate restructuring, governance and strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Clear understanding of the power distribution sector and regulatory challenges.
• Candidates must meet the Fit and Proper Criteria under:
  • State-Owned Enterprises (Governance & Operations) Act, 2023
  • SOEs (C-Level Appointments) Guidelines, 2024
• Previous experience in a senior role within a power distribution company will be an added advantage.

Age Limit

• Maximum 62 years on the closing date.

Pay Package

PESCO offers a market-based, competitive salary package, aligned with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Tenure & Nature of Employment

• The appointment is contract-based for an initial period of three (3) years.
• Extension is possible based on performance and organizational requirements.
