Looking for How to Apply for ECAT in Pakistan as ECAT is the engineering College Admission tests which is being conducted by the University of engineering and Technology in Lahore and is being conducted after the intermediate examination in late August or September. So for the purpose of applying in the test students are advised t submit all their relevant documents which should be attached with the ECAT admission form which will be available immediately after the intermediate examination.
There are several documents, which are considered to be essential while submitting the form that includes the domicile of the individual candidate with the recent photograph of the applicant. The student must have its Computerized National Identity Card or Computerized B form from NADRA. The student is instructed to submit al the relevant and concerned academic documents with the application form which must include Certificate, Diploma or Degree of all the examinations on the basis of which admission is sought (i.e. H.S.S.C., Diploma of Associate Engineer, B.Sc., B.Tech (Pass) or equivalent). The applicant is advised to submit his or her 6 passport size photographs with all the documents with in the due date of submission.
The candidates and the applicantswho are applying against the reserve seats, whichinclude the seats, which are being reserved for the overseas candidates, must have an employment certificate (on Form-VIII) of applicant’s Parent/Guardian in a foreign country issued by the Pakistani Embassy in that country. Form-VIII can be downloaded from our website or can be obtained from the office of the undersigned and A photocopy of resident visa of applicant’s Parent/Guardian, attested by the Pakistani Embassy in that country.
The student should be taking this under consideration that they should submit their application form only in that center where they are willing to appear in the ECAT test and should not submit it in any other center because the roll number of the applicant will be generated in center where the application will be submitted. While submission of the application form the students are instructed to bring their original documents with them because their documents will be analyzed before the submission of the application of all the respective individual applicants. No application will be accepted if it will be sent through any post or courier as only those application will be brought under consideration which will be submitted through the hand.
