Minority Scholarship Punjab 2025-2026 Application Process

The Government of Pakistan, through the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, has announced the Minority Scholarship Punjab for the financial year 2025–2026. This initiative supports students from minority communities across Punjab, covering education from primary classes to professional studies. The program is designed to help deserving learners continue their academic journey without financial stress, as long as they fulfill the eligibility criteria and submit all required documents within the specified deadlines.

The scholarship is available only for regular minority students enrolled in government institutions in Punjab and other provinces of Pakistan. The program ensures that students who have performed well academically and belong to low-income households receive financial assistance.

Eligibility Criteria for Minority Scholarship 2025 2026

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

Regular Minority Students

Students must be enrolled as regular students in government educational institutions only. Private institution students are not eligible for this scholarship.

Academic Performance

The student must have passed their annual examination within the last one year and obtained at least 50 percent marks.
For GPA based systems, an evaluation sheet issued by the institution is mandatory.

Household Income

The monthly income of the student’s father or guardian must not exceed Rs 80,000.

No Other Scholarships

Students who are already receiving any scholarship, stipend or financial aid from other sources are not eligible.

Required Documents

Students must fill out the form online and send the printout to the Ministry along with the documents listed below:

Attested Application Form

A printed copy of the computer generated application form, attested by the Head of Institution.

Academic Records

Attested copies of marksheets or DMC of the last annual exam.
For semester based studies, attested marksheets of the last two semesters are required.
For GPA systems, an evaluation sheet is mandatory.

Income Certificate

Original income certificate of father or guardian, verified by the concerned authority.

CNIC or B Form

Attested copy of the student’s CNIC or NADRA B Form.

Bank Account Details

A valid and active bank account number of the applicant.

Ensure that all academic information, marksheets and progress reports are correct before attesting.

Confirm Financial Status

Verify the financial condition of the parent or guardian before signing the income certificate.

Restrict Ineligible Students

Ensure that students receiving assistance from other scholarship programs are not applying again.

Application Process for Minority Scholarship Punjab 2025-2026

The scholarship application involves two main steps:

Step One Online Submission

Students must fill out and submit the online form available on the official Ministry website: www.mora.gov.pk.

Step Two Sending Hard Copy

Within 30 days after online submission, applicants must send the printed form containing the computer generated number along with all required documents to the Ministry.

Applications will be accepted only if the online form is submitted first.

All instructions must be followed strictly. Any application that is incomplete, unverified or submitted without the required documents will not be considered. Only online applications followed by the hard copy within the given deadline will be processed.
