Kohat University of Science and Technology stands in the list of best public universities present in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This university was established in 2001 under the supervision of former governor Lt. Gen. Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah in the beautiful place of Kohat district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan. In its initial days, it consisted of four major departments, the Institute of Information and Technology, the Institute of Education and Research, the Institute of Management Science, and the Department of Microbiology. KUST University offers admissions twice a year is spring and fall.
