Who Can Apply As PN Cadet?

• Only Male Citizens of Pakistan
• Unmarried
• Age Limit on 1st July 2025:
  Civilian Candidates: 16.5 to 21 years
  Service Candidates (Armed forces in Uniform): 17-23 years

Educational Requirements:

• FSc or O/A Levels
• Minimum 60% marks are required
• Subjects Combination:
  Maths, Physics, and Chemistry
  Maths, Physics, and Computer Science
  Maths, Physics, and Statistics
• O/A level candidates will provide the equivalence certificate
• Those candidates who are studying in FSc part 2 can also apply if their marks in FSc part 1 are 60% or above on the hope certificate. But if he/she fails to get 60% marks, then he will be disqualified at any stage.

Ineligibility Criteria

• The candidates who are twice rejected by ISSB/GHQ/NHQ/AHQ. Also, those candidates who are once rejected by ISSB and once by GHQ/NHQ/AHQ.
• Those withdrawn from any academy or training institute of Armed Forces or any bounded any armed forces academy due to disciplinary ground.
• Dismissed or Removed from any government department (including armed forces).
• The candidate who is declared medically unfit by the Armed Forces Appeal Medical Board.
• Any applicant submitting fake or tempered documents.

Selection Procedure

After registration, there is a complete process of test.

• After the registration, a Computer-based written entry test will be taken. It will be an intelligence and Academic Subjects (English, Maths, Physics, & General Knowledge) based test.
• The candidates passing this entrance test will go for Preliminary Medical/Interview and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The following test will be conducted:

• After passing this, the shortlisted candidates will be called for Test and Interviews at ISSB.
• This is the most important test as the selection made by the ISSB Board matters a lot.
• Then a complete medical examination recommended by ISSB is held at the nearest CMH/Naval Hospital.
• The Naval Headquarters does the final selection.
• The candidates go for two years of training for the related fields.
