FPSC CSS MPT 2027 Registration Open – Apply Online for MCQ-Based Preliminary Test

The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has issued a Public Notice inviting online applications for the MCQs Based Preliminary Test (MPT) for the CSS Competitive Examination 2027. Qualifying the MPT is mandatory for candidates who wish to appear in the CSS Competitive Examination 2027.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Qualifying the MCQs Based Preliminary Test (MPT) is mandatory for appearing in the CSS Competitive Examination 2027.
  • Applicants must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree (Second Division) from a recognized institution.
  • The required age is 21 to 30 years on the cut-off date.
  • A two-year age relaxation is admissible to eligible categories as specified under Rule 6 of the CSS Competitive Examination Rules.
  • The cut-off date for age, qualification, domicile, and all other eligibility requirements is 31 December 2026.

Candidates are advised to ensure they fully satisfy all eligibility conditions before submitting their applications.

Examination Rules

The examination will be conducted under the CSS Competitive Examination Rules, 2019, without any exceptions.

Candidates admitted provisionally under the relevant rules will appear at their own risk. If found ineligible at any stage, their candidature may be cancelled regardless of whether they have appeared in or qualified any part of the examination process.

How to Apply

Follow these steps to submit your application:

  1. Visit the official FPSC website:
    https://www.fpsc.gov.pk
  2. Click on the “Apply Online” link.
  3. Create an account or log in to your existing account.
  4. Complete or update your profile.
  5. Fill out the online application form for MPT-2027.
  6. Generate the 16-digit PSID for online fee payment.
  7. Deposit the application fee before the closing date.
  8. Log in again and complete the remaining application details.
  9. Submit your online application.

The application fee is:

Payment can be made through the 1-Link system using:

  • ATM
  • Internet Banking
  • Mobile Banking Apps
  • JazzCash
  • EasyPaisa
  • 1-Link Member Banks

Note: Payments through the old FPSC Challan Form (TR-6), cheque, bank draft, or pay order will not be accepted.

Admission Certificate

Candidates can download their Admission Certificate from the FPSC website at least 10 days before the examination.

No separate intimation will be issued by FPSC.

Important Instructions

Candidates should carefully note the following:

  • Fill in the online application carefully before final submission.
  • Enter your CNIC and Date of Birth correctly.
  • Incorrect information may lead to rejection of the application.
  • The selected Examination Centre cannot be changed after submission.
  • Candidates are responsible for providing complete and accurate information.
  • FPSC has zero tolerance against cheating and unfair means.
