University of Swat is a government university which was built in July 2010. This university is situated in the beautiful area of Saidu Sharif near Mangora city in Swat Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It was built by the Prime minister of Pakistan for the students of that area to meet with latest and modern terms of education. University of Swat is recognized by the Higher education Commission HEC and affiliated with the Pakistan Engineering Council. It offers large number of courses to the students of graduate and postgraduate degree program. This university was ranked as 124th university in 2012 by the Higher education Commission. It offers admission on merit basis to students and has their own admission criteria for selection of students. University of Swat has also many sub campuses located in different cities of Pakistan. All students who have passed their exams can apply for the admission in this university to acquire knowledge. University of Swat Eligibility Criteria:
- Students have to pass their previous exam with 60% marks or above otherwise, they will not able to get admission in University of Swat
- Entry test is compulsory, which is taken by the university management from admission searcher students
- All students having international degree like O/A level must have to bring equivalence certificate issued by IBCC otherwise they will not consider eligible
- Admission criteria is based on the marks obtained in matriculation, intermediate and entry test
University of Swat always opens twice admission every year. Admissions are announced through newspaper add every year. This year also will announce through newspaper too. Due to limitation of seats few students will get admission on merit basis.
